It is with great joy that I pen these words. You see, it has been 8 months since I last flew and was able to indulge in the luxury of airplane food. I was blessed in June when I was in the hospital to have their delicacies. I just had a scrumptious airplane meal (are there any other kind) so I am fully happy. To get you caught up; landed in Atlanta a few minutes ahead of schedule and had a 3+ hour layover. Took the train from one terminal to another but still arrived in plenty of time. Was able to call and speak to TMBWITW (The Most Beautiful Woman In The World) which, of course, is my lovely bride. She went to therapy today and got tired quickly. She has not been feeling well recently and unable to do all of her exercises. After she broke her arm, she had a physical and occupational therapist come out for 5 or so weeks. It was recommended that she have additional therapy before her surgery. The idea is to strengthen her and assist in her recovery. We boarded and took off on time. Due to the fact that it is February the plane is not full. In fact, I was able to switch and get a better seat with any empty seat next to me. After I finish this; I am going to walk the aisles for a minute or so. Back in June I had a blood clot in my right lung so I have been told by both my Primary doctor and Cardiologist to get up and walk every so often. I will then try to get some sleep. Richard and Lori land about 15 minutes before I do so we will just meet at the gate headed for Douala.

Yea: I have electricity and did not have to hunt for it. I am charging my Cameroon phone and working, as you can see, on my computer. Flight was smooth and arrived 15 minutes early. I flew through the airport (did not have to go through Customs) and am waiting for Richard and Lori. If their flight was on schedule, I should see them within the next 30 minutes. Slept for about 90 minutes on the plane, watched a Rockford File (Tucker Harding and Rob Foster’s favorite TV show) and went over my class for the seminar. The seminar begins on Monday but we will have plenty to do between now and then. We will have the French side first and expect around 70. Below is a picture of Ethan that I posted yesterday. He was 17 in this picture. Time really flies as you age. At least I have been told that by the elderly like Teresa Blaisdell. I, personally, would not know!

There is no time difference in Feb between Paris and Cameroon. We are 7 hours ahead of you. I have to make this fast because I left my electrical cord to my computer on the plane tonight. Jean Claude assures me that he can get a matching one tomorrow. I certainly hope so or Howdys and pictures will cease. Speaking of pictures; I know that Richard and Lori will like the picture below from the plane. Aren’t they cute: well, at least the left ½ is! Richard & Lori popped up at the gate around 8:45. We went down to a small place and had a nice breakfast. Took off a little behind schedule but made it up and landed 5 minutes early. I slept a bit on the plane, , visited with Richard and Lori, watched some TV, listened to some music and read. Before we landed, they gave us some Strawberry Ice Cream! Made it through Customs fine and all of our bags made it safely. Jean Claude had a flat on the way to pick us and was a little late but no problem. Linda and Louis also came. Lori and I rode with Jean Claude and Ricardo rode in the other vehicle. Traffic was not bad and we make it to the hotel around 6:30. I have been working ever since except for a small break for supper. I am not being sarcastic when I say that it is sad that so many people have to have hot food. Right out of the can is great. I got my first shower in 2 days and was able to Skype with Charlie Brown and Grandma. Please pray for Linda as she is not feeling well and is convinced this is the new normal which it ain’t. If you have her number, please call her. If you could go over for a visit, please do so. I am shooting to get in bed by 1. Thank you for your prayers.
