Campaign got off to a good start. We had two studies and both of them were converted! Rodrique (the preacher in Yokaduma) expects at least 4 prospects tomorrow.
Had a good night’s rest. The generator was supposed to work all night but it did not but that is OK as it was not that warm. Got up at 8:30 and prepared for the day. No water really makes a difference. We climbed two machines at about 10 and got there in about 10 minutes. Shortly after we arrived we began teaching Barnette (left below) and Danielle. I have known Danielle since she was only a few years old. In fact, I am the one who taught her how to cross her eyes! You can see the “delivery room” below. It is a very nice and scenic baptistry. We had a very long study and I feel very comfortable with these young girls. Two of the prospects for today called and said they would have to wait until tomorrow.
We were blessed today as we did not meet any rain. Took machines back (no car taxis in Yokaduma) and did some stuff on the computer. Went to supper and had a delicious meal. When I returned I discovered the water was on so I got to take a nice cold shower. Oh, earlier I was able to Skype with Linda and her sister Ellen. Linda has still not lost any of her beauty, which is considerable! I have my Bible class and sermon ready for tomorrow. I am going to relax and try to get to bed early. We are both fine and thank you for your continued prayers.
