As you can see; during this time of the year there is a 7 hour gap between us and Trumbull. Oh, Trumbull is just north of Palmer and southwest of Bristol. Have had a good day and will rewind to the beginning. Slept well as I should since I had gotten about 2 hours of sleep in the past 48. Set the alarm for 9 and didn’t wake up until it rang. Did my normal morning routine and Louis was supposed to be here at 10. He nearly sent me into Cardiac arrest when he arrived at 9:45! It is hard for an old man like me to handle such stress. Of course, ‘every cloud has a silver lining’ and mine is that I am not as old as Teresa Blaisdell. Now that is OLD! Don’t know who the ‘wild woman’ is in the picture below but Junior and Will (two of my grandsons are shown). Was this taken at the zoo?! Louis and I went over a few things and then we walked to a bookshop to buy pens, paper, chalk and markers for the seminar. He is going to make copies of a number of things for me. Jean Claude had some other business to attend to so Louis and I went to lunch alone. Service was much faster than usual and we enjoyed the food and company. Then we hopped on a couple of machines and went to a grocery store to get some necessities. Primarily M&Ms, Mars Bars, Snickers and Twix. If you look at the ingredients for all of them you will find at least 7 of the 5 food groups. This afternoon I did a bunch of miscellaneous stuff in getting ready for the seminar. Jean Claude and I took a taxi to the airport to pick Chris and met Louis there. He made it through with no problems and we were able to get back to the hotel in good shape. Oh, I did talk to Louise this morning and she made it to Dallas. We look forward to seeing her tomorrow night. My printer is not working and we thought Louis had fixed it but he did not. Chris said he wanted to shower and get some sleep so I am leaving him alone. I will go ahead and shower and then call Linda and Charlie Brown once he gets home from school. We are excited about Monday. Thanks for your continued prayers.
