I will see my precious wife in about 111,600 seconds but who is counting! This is the looooooooooong part of the trip. By the time we land in Dallas or San Antonio (Mark) we will have been up for about 37 hours. I did not get to bed until 2 this morning and woke up at 7. Fortunately I was able to go back to sleep and got up before 9. I was able to take another nice shower and prepare for a morning meeting with Louis and Linda. We discussed a ministry they lead each summer called the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP). It is basically a VBS for the kids in the neighborhood and they have had about 50 kids for the past two years. It is a 5 day program. Several Americans fund it along with Louis and Linda’s congregation. We spoke about Noble Age 5 which is our next foray into Bible class curriculum. This will be the first series of lessons aimed at teens. This will be the most challenging as we want to write material that will help the children develop a daily walk with the Lord versus baptism alone. Don’t misunderstand; no one will see heaven who has not been immersed but we know plenty American brethren (and Cameroonian) who ‘got wet’ but never gave their life to the Lord. Please be in prayer for this and if you would like to contribute to the funding of the translation and printing, just let me know. There is never a need of a lack of funds. Louis and I discussed the campaign in October. We then all got into taxis and went to our favorite eating establishment. Man, am I glad I wasn’t hungry when I arrived. It was 70 minutes after we got there that our food arrived. Seemed like 170! The food was great but being with Vincent, Jean Claude, Louis and Linda was far GREATER! The fellowship is such a blessing. We took machines back to the hotel and I got some good video. Have been packing for the journey and doing some ‘clean up’ stuff. In about 45 minutes we will head for the airport. I am going to send this now and then start my Final Howdy which will not be sent until Thursday morning. Oh, I have the team pictured below. Thank you so much for your love and all of the prayers you have uttered. The Lord has truly blessed this effort.
